What You'll Do
Event Design & Creative
• Develop cohesive event concepts that consider every guest touchpoint from arrival through departure.
• Create thoughtful, immersive event environments that engage all five senses.
• Research trends in hospitality, interior design, food and beverage, fashion, and luxury events to inspire fresh creative ideas.
• Create and organize design inspiration across Pinterest, Instagram, PartySlate, and BizBash.
• Build design boards organized by destination, venue, season, and aesthetic.
• Assist with proposal development, mood boards, presentations, and client-facing creative materials.
• Organize and maintain Plume's library of event photography and design inspiration.
Event Production
• Support the planning and execution of corporate meetings, retreats, and destination events.
• Participate in pre-event site visits approximately one month before each program.
• Travel to event destinations up to two days before guest arrival to oversee setup and preparations.
• Coordinate event supplies, staff provisions, vendor load-ins, walkthroughs, and onsite logistics.
• Assist with event installation, production, and teardown.
• Ensure every event is executed with exceptional attention to detail and hospitality.
Vendor & Destination Development
• Build relationships with venues and vendors across the country.
• Research and source innovative destination-specific partners that elevate the guest experience.
• Create and maintain destination vendor databases with contact information, websites, social media links, specialties, and notes.
• Maintain accurate vendor records within Salesforce.
• Strengthen supplier partnerships through ongoing communication and collaboration.
Operations & Team Support
• Support both Sales and Operations with day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks.
• Assist with client site tours and meeting preparation.
• Coordinate annual client gifting, including sourcing products, designing gift boxes, and managing shipping logistics.
• Organize event imagery and digital assets.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Creative, and Event Production teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and deliver an exceptional client experience.

What You'll Learn

Our goal is to help you develop into a well-rounded Event Producer over time.
What We're Looking For
• 2 to 3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, weddings, DMC, luxury hotels, interior design, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A strong eye for design and passion for creating beautiful, intentional experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, and eager to solve problems.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and excited to continue learning.
• A collaborative team player who takes ownership and follows through.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the year.
• Proficiency in Excel required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Experience with Social Tables, Prismm, CAD software or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Travel & Schedule Expectations
This position is based in Utah and requires regular travel throughout the United States.
Travel is one of the most rewarding aspects of the role, but it is also demanding. Event days often require early mornings, late nights, and long hours on your feet. You should expect to be one of the first team members onsite and among the last to leave, ensuring every detail is executed to Plume's standards.
